Dr Darius Ashrafi is an accredited urology registrar with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand. He completed his primary medical degree at the University of Queensland and his pre-vocational training in sites throughout Queensland. He is currently undertaking his specialist training in Sydney, New South Wales.
He is completing his Master of Surgery (Urology) through the University of Sydney. Darius has published extensively, including prostate cancer research in European Urology. He has also worked as a researcher for the Queensland Audit of Surgical Mortality.
Darius continues to maintain strong academic links as an associate lecturer with the University of New South Wales and University of Queensland and is an educator for junior doctors at his various clinical appointments.
